Sorry I didn’t get on this yesterday! But I just wanted to announce that datapad’s entry won the banner contest and will now be featured as the header for this blog.

I’d also like to thank beautiful-asami-sato, strofades and ambrosius-eri for putting in a lot of time to submit some beautiful graphics. :)

….Ugh, I couldn’t choose any of them. I put in the clean version of the one with my pathetic attempt at bloodstains, and lyrics from “Tear Away” by Drowning Pool and “Fire and Ice” by Pat Benatar are on those. The first is supposed to be 3D, hahaha… (I have no idea if it worked though, because I need to find my 3D glasses -plus I don’t know if it’ll work with the text and edge design in the way).

Received 3 entries so far. Banners should be 845 pixels by 150-300 pixels, can be gifs, should be safe for work.

Task force Korrlok and its fanon potential is what got me in too deep for this pairing. I attempted to go for simplicity and ‘pastels’ and some kind of forecasting of what it would look like if Korra and Tarrlok had a tight grip on that Water Tribe sisterhood.

It should be 845 pixels wide. Height doesn’t really matter, anything between 150 and 300 pixels tall is fine, 350 if you want to push it.

I fiddled around with themes and found a new one that I like better. There’s an option for a custom header. So, I was thinking, banner contest? Among the 90+ followers of this blog, there’s got to be a few of you with graphic making skills.

Give it a whirl? Best one gets put as the blog header.

Gifs are fine. Safe for work is a definite plus.
